Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actor since the late 1980s. Her work has been recognized for film and television in the 1980s, she has received various accolades such as two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by her aunt and Uncle in New York New York. Bassett along with her sister who were about five years old, moved out of New York and into St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their divorced father. Bassett was in high school when she was able to see James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck production Of Mice and Men and knew that her dream of being an actor had been born. Yale University New Haven Connecticut in which she graduated with her bachelor's in African American and master's degrees (1983). She was married in 1997. got married to Courtney B. Vance who was a fellow actor. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama conferred the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in the year. She attended the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main parts in the film Ramonda in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
